About street photography concept

The great street photographer Sebastiao Salgado wrote this concept, which resonates with my philosophy: a street photographer is a bit like a hunter; when he spots his prey, he stops and waits for the right moment to shoot. A photographer is similar: he chooses a location, stops, and waits for the right moment before the event occurs, because it will surely happen! For this reason, when I decide to stroll around the city, I take my camera with a small optical zoom and stop in a square to identify that precise spot where the event will surely happen, like the reflection of the images of people in shop windows, or that moment, that kiss or that gesture that will never happen again!

I personally think photos and footages are more than just an image, as it should include all of your senses…
